Product overview

ThinAnywhere's Web Portal provides a single point of entry for Unix/Linux  based applications.  Administrators can automatically create  personalized web pages that contain the systems and applications that each user has been given access to.  Users no longer have to remember what applications they can use and where they are.

It also contains a web based interface to the user database and standard reporting features of accounting information.   Administrators  can centrally manage users and their data such as the companies, departments, and projects they belong to.  Quickly add or remove applications/sites to a users personalized login page.  With the web based reports Administrators can quickly see usage data for all enabled servers.

Security

We recommend the use of SSL encryption.  Using the certificate based encryption technology makes everything passed between the server and the client safe including passwords at login time as well as data that is accessed through the web based interface to the database.

Cross platform compatibility

ThinAnywhere's Web Portal provides a simple solution to a single point of entrance to all Unix/Linux based applications whether you are a Windows, Unix, or Linux Client.
